Biorhythm calculator

The calculation takes place entirely in your browser. Your date of birth – and, in the compatibility check, that of the other person – is not sent to us or to third parties. So that you do not have to enter it again each time, it is kept in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When the site is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time and page requested in order to deliver the website and protect it against abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses agreed therein.

Printing and sharing

The print view, PDF, QR code and the image for status updates and stories are created entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to us. If you choose a service such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook or X, it opens with the prepared text – only then, and only what you share there, reaches that provider under its own privacy policy. If a shared link or QR code contains your date of birth (only if you explicitly choose this), it follows the “#” sign and is not sent to the server when the link is opened.

Calendar export

The calendar file (.ics) with your critical days is created entirely in your browser and downloaded straight to your device; nothing is sent to us. Whatever you then import into a calendar app is subject to that provider’s terms.

Widget on other websites

Operators of other websites can embed the calculator as a widget (iframe). The widget is loaded from our servers at Netlify, which involves the technically necessary data described under “Hosting”. The widget sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and contains no audience measurement. The birth date you enter is processed only in your browser. The operator of the website embedding the widget is responsible for the rest of that site.

Audience measurement with Umami

To measure visitor numbers we use Umami Cloud, a service of Umami Software, Inc., USA. Umami sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses; the analysis is anonymous and aggregated only (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Among other things, pages viewed, referring page, language, device type and use of the calculator are counted – but never the date of birth entered. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. Umami and its sub-processors also process data in the USA; the transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
